I see Idaho has one so I have started our own.

Since I'm not working yet and need something to do I can come here everyday and see what's going on. Went and talked to my old boss and he says he's not looking for another full time employee, just someone who will work 2 days a week. I asked about how they got their lumber and said I would do it for half of what they are paying their outside haulers. I could work the 2 days that he needs me then go out of state and pick up loads from mills and bring back. He said he would think about it.

Trying to get back in shape also. I got my mountain bike out of the closet, put new tubes in the tires and now am riding my bike everyday. Rode around the block ( approx 1/2 mile ) Will do that a few times then try riding from end to end of town.

Going be another beautiful day here in Cloverdale 62* right now, but supposed to top out at 80*

Almost a month to go before the Yosemite trip, gonna be a memorable trip for the Burke clan I am sure of that. Even though some think it's a waste of time and money.

If I had been asked and had the fuel I would have been there early to help. No money in the kitty to speak of until after the first of the month. I owe one other person big for a favor he did for me, hopefully I will get the chance to repay that debt.

Yes I bet it was hard work. My uncle replaced his a few years back, he started to build another made out of wood but figured it would fall down over time like the last one did, so he built the new one out of concrete blocks. It was quite a job, digging the footing, placing all the rebar, using a wheel barrow to get the concrete to the back yard. Also using the wheel barrow to place the blocks from out front to the rear of the house. It took almost a week before it was completely done.

I don't want summer to come, it's hot enough here already.

We're supposed to get thunderstorms here today but I don't see it unless the clouds start moving in soon. It's a bit overcast but nothing threatening looking as far as rain goes

I have to agree, I don't like the heat either.
Guess I shouldn't have bought a house in the desert.

That sounds like a lot of fun, I was on call all weekend (3 days) and worked every day of it. Couldn't even sleep through the whole night, was up at 2am for one call.
